BEYOND THE ONE-OFF

One video is a moment.
A strategy builds momentum.

A polished video gets posted, then the next urgent request arrives. Without a clear plan, even great production can lose its impact.

Let’s give every asset a job to do—and make each one part of something bigger.

We don’t sell videos.
We build video engines.

Clarity builds: reusable videos stack on a shared foundation, with an upward arrow showing momentum over time.

CLIENT STORY

Video that keeps pace
with the product.

A year-long creative partnership helping a fast-moving developer tools company explain new features, build a recognizable brand, and keep content moving.

THE CHALLENGE

A growing product.
A stretched marketing team.

CodeRabbit needed to make its AI code review tool understandable to developers while keeping up with new features and industry news. Its lean team needed a creative partner who could turn product ideas into finished content.

THE PARTNERSHIP

From the first launch
to an ongoing video engine.

We started with an IDE launch video. Working closely with the team, I translated briefs and sketches into visual stories. The collaboration expanded into further feature launches, funding announcements, podcasts, studio setup, and a multi-screen BART station campaign.

I also built a library of animated titles, logos, lower thirds, and sound treatments. The team could keep a consistent look and feel without rebuilding those elements for every video.

STORY IN ACTION

Making a text-heavy tool feel human.

For the CLI launch, I built the story around a developer’s frustration with an AI-generated component that didn’t work. CodeRabbit identifying the issue became the turning point. Screen animation, close-up details, music, and expressive sound carried the story from frustration to relief.

SPEED IN PRACTICE

Ready when the news breaks.

For select time-sensitive projects, I delivered publish-ready podcast edits within twelve hours of receiving three-camera footage—including branded titles, lower thirds, and supporting screenshots illustrating new AI-model results.

The reusable toolkit reduced repeat work and helped the team respond quickly while keeping the content recognizably CodeRabbit.

“Kingsley always made sure that this was in line with the brand identity and it really helped us grow the product in that sense and build the brand that Code Rabbit is today”

THE K-R-E-A-T-E METHOD

Clarity first.
Momentum follows.

We start with your current video efforts and growth goals. Then we build a plan around where you are and what you need next.

K01

Know your audience

Get clear on who you need to reach, what matters to them, and where your business needs to go.

R02

Refine your message

Turn complex ideas into a focused message your audience can understand and remember.

E03

Engage with story

Find the human story behind your business. Shape the narrative before you hit record.

A04

Asset planning

Plan the right mix of videos and supporting assets, with a purpose and a schedule for each.

T05

Target platforms

Prioritize the channels that fit your audience, and adapt the content to each platform.

E06

Evaluate and iterate

Review performance against your goals. Use what we learn to make the next round stronger.

BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION

Before the assets,
find the story.

A clear story gives your video strategy a foundation. Together, we define the three things your audience needs to understand.

01

Why Your purpose

Why you exist beyond making money. The belief and origin story people can connect with.

02

How Your difference

What makes your approach distinctive. The way you work that gives people a reason to trust you.

03

What Your offer

What you do, how it works, and how it helps. The clarity people need to take the next step.

WORKING TOGETHER

A clear process.
A direct partnership.

You work directly with me, Kingsley. I lead the strategy, manage production and feedback, and bring in specialist collaborators when your project needs them.

01 / GET ALIGNED

Start with a conversation.

We discuss your goals, review your brand and existing content, and explore references. You’ll understand my process and the likely schedule. From there, I put together a proposal with agreed deliverables and timing.

02 / MAKE IT REAL

Move from story to screen.

We plan the assets, then start with a script—or a storyboard if you already have a script. Animation moves through storyboard, animatic, rough cut, fine cut, and final. Editing projects follow the stages they need.

03 / KEEP IMPROVING

Build a steady rhythm.

We move one or two assets forward at a time, meeting weekly to review feedback and plan what’s next. From product videos to podcasts and short clips, the work supports your strategy. Performance reviews guide the next round.

What I need from you

One main point of contact, a weekly check-in, and consolidated feedback within 24–48 hours. Most videos include two or three review rounds, with the details agreed in your proposal.

WHY I BUILT KINGSLEY KREATIVE

Shape the story
before you hit record.

“I can edit the story, but I can’t fix what was never there.”

Kingsley Willis
Founder, Kingsley Kreative

Early in my career, I was handed footage for four customer testimonials. There were plenty of answers, but very little story. As the editor, I was expected to turn it into something compelling.

That project changed how I work. I realized I needed to help shape the narrative before the footage reached my timeline.

So I went beyond the brief. Instead of relying on static screenshots, I recreated the Facebook interface in motion, showing how people actually used the product. The story finally became clear.

Through my work at Facebook and Elastic, that lesson stayed with me: the strongest video starts with understanding what needs to be said—and why it matters.

Today, Kingsley Kreative brings clarity, storytelling, and execution together to help founders and CMOs grow with video.
